Election season is upon us and we as a community need to stand strong to protect ourselves more than ever. In the face of the personal attacks I have endured from First Service and our property manager, I continue to fight for all homeowners so that our money goes a long way and that we stop the reckless spending. |

Despite my best efforts, the current president and vice president of our board continue to allow our property to deteriorate. That’s why I need your help; to not only hold them responsible by voting them out if they run again, but to also volunteer by running for a board seat, so we can restore Gateview's appearance and prestige. |

As a reminder, under the current President Michelle Dunton, and Vice President Ketki Shah, the following has happened on our property with OUR HOA dollars: |
- The President and Vice President have kept our hot tub closed for over 18 months, falsely claiming we need a costly total replacement and reconstruction for handicapped-compliance. I fought to get the real records from Alameda County, which confirm we only need a new compatible drain cover. I am now being threatened for exposing this information, but the community deserves to know. Unless we vote for new leadership, it seems the hot tub will remain closed despite the easy fix.

- They spent over $100,000 of our HOA dollars for painting new stripes in the garage, yet so much of that paint is already worn away. Do you want them to continue spending money on FirstService's favored vendor partners, without accountability or competitive bidding?

- They are considering a more expensive First Service contract next year. Do you want to increase your dues for a property manager who the California Civil Rights Department is currently investigating?

Effective leadership should start at the top and work down. |
Thanks to your votes for Steven and I last year, we made a lot of progress in stopping projects that would have caused our dues to skyrocket well over $1,000/month. This year we need your help again. |
