Thank you so much for your encouragement and votes in this election. Because of you, Steven and I were elected to the Gateview Board of Directors by a wide margin, where we will work hard to serve you in the best manner we can.
There are a couple of ways you can share suggestions and concerns with us, or ask questions. The buttons at the bottom will send us an email. If you prefer paper, you can write a letter; seal it in an envelope; put our names on the outside; and drop it off at the Office. There may also be surveys in upcoming messages.
Here are a few top priority items which you communicated to us, that we plan to bring to up with our fellow board members in the coming months:
Deteriorating property conditions
Wasteful spending which is contributing to high dues
Poor bidding practices
Lack of transparency
Scalding hot water
Equal access to the Clubhouse
Broken elevators and loud elevator noises
Closed hot tub
Electioneering and voting
As directors, we are bound by a duty of loyalty to support board decisions. But we can still gather ideas and opinions from you to inform our actions and future agenda items. We'll share the outcomes, which you can also find in the minutes. You'll be hearing from us again soon. May the coming year bring higher property values and better value for everyone.
